Graduating university in Tokyo with a degree in English literature, off Yurie went to Paris. While there, she spent 3 years as a blogger for a certain famous magazine, telling the world about culture and travel – splitting her time there and working in the airline industry. Returning home in 2016, she now works for an international tourism company, but also is Wakapedia’s Japanese content editor! Travel and photography are her passions and she has taken photos in no less than 23 countries. Her motto is “Everyday is a little present” and that drives her to check out local café culture, take short trips, and continue her adventures around the globe.
