about Wakapedia
Wakapedia is a community for cultural exchange. We produce stories that connect audiences globally and bring creative intercultural projects to life.
Wakapedia was founded in 2013 by Sara Waka. Japanese born and raised in Milan, Sara works as contributor for L’Officiel Italia and art guide for Fondazione Prada.
She also works with talent agency MDKreative as a digital contributor and ambassador for international brands. Wakapedia’s team is comprised of exceptional international contributors and producers from Japan, Italy and France, who keeps Wakapedia’s fast-growing following coming back for stories about the leading figures in art, fashion and lifestyle.
From concept to creation Wakapedia provides tailor-made content for corporate or private clients wishing to expand in Japan and Europe. Our approach is content-focused brand strategy; offering creative consultancy, production and execution.
Wakapedia is dedicated to its mission #CultureCanBeFun, designing events with a playful side that generate great original content.
Current collaborations with L’Officiel Magazine, Elle Japan, Playboy Italia, Teatro La Scala, Expo Milano, TOILETPAPER Magazine and Nintendo, make Wakapedia the go to company for strategic multicultural 360 degrees partnership.
